It's Tuesday again! I was all alone in my attempts at breaking down the writers' block wall last week... I know Amber's swamped with work just now, so she's off the hook - but it'd be nice to know that there are a few warm bodies out there reading! So... join in! Please?

It's nice to know that my readership (of one) likes bandwagons as much as I do! Amber, writer and editor of many a fabulous blog, decided that, in answer to our last 'Tuesday Writer's Block' question, it was Enid Blyton's books that had most influenced her. If you've been reading my blog for more than five minutes, you'll know that she and I are doppelgangers in that sense! We share a love of writing, and a particular hope that we'll one day be published authors of amazing books that centre on faces at windows, secret tunnels and smugglers! So, thank you Amber for your first step towards breaking Tuesday's writer's block!

I've decided to have a little fun on Tuesdays. I mean - let's face it - Tuesday usually gets lost in the midst of the work week. It's not dreaded like a Monday; nor is it a hopeful "hump-day" Wednesday. It doesn't warrant Thursday's fatigued gasps of 'hurray, a day closer to the weekend!' ; and it's certainly not a Thank God it's FRIDAY! So poor little Tuesday is being elevated here at Mirkwood Cottage, to the day on which we break through our writer's block.
