Vintage Pick of the Week: 50s choker set from Jennie's Junque

It's been a little while since I featured a Vintage Pick of the Week, but when I spotted this gem on Etsy, I thought that there was no place better suited for it!

A fantastic example of gold-tone statement jewellery from the 50s / early 60s, it features moulded roses with green enamel leaves, set with faux pearl details.

This would have been a treasured set of evening accessories of a stylish woman of the times, no doubt, and I can imagine her friends admiring her beautiful necklace and earrings at a dinner party or social dance! I always think there's something terribly elegant about matching sets - the perfect icing for the cake!
