Beautiful vintage typewriters

I love my laptop (I sometimes see it as an extension of my brain's storage capacity), but there's something awfully romantic about a typewriter. My nana has recently written a book - all on a typewriter. Time consuming? Yes. Not all that easy to edit? Sure! But so very, very pretty, no?

Anyway: Etsy, the place of all things beautiful, lovely and dreamy has quite a collection of vintage typewriters.

This white Adler portable typewriter is just gorgeous and comes with its original carry case. Can't you just hear the clickety-clack of industrious book writing looking at this picture? The best sellers? The accolades?
