Lauren Rennells, the lovely author of fabulous Bobby Pin Blog, has released the second edition of her book Vintage Hairstyling. Filling an enormous gap in the vintage hair book market, this one is picture-heavy and easy to follow by all accounts!
I'm itching to try the marcel waves and some of the more creative pin curl methods... and Lauren even suggests modern accoutrements to achieve the vintage look (rather than having to search high and low for the original bits and pieces!).
With 200 pages of vintage hair goodness, I can't wait until November to unwrap this present! If you'd like to order a copy, you can purchase it at the special price of $32.95 from Lauren's website.
thanks for the review, looking forward to receiving this book.

This vintage hairstyle is suited for any wedding event. Very old school and simple! For some guys, simplicity is more appealing. Today, vintage fashion sense has become popular when the music video of Katy Perry's "Thinking of You" topped the music hit chart. Since vintage themes are popular, there are some photographers who use these as their theme. Some of their models wore wigs, and some have their extensions and have their hair cut in order to have vintage hairstyles.
