Marilyn Monroe is arguably one of the most recognisable faces of the 20th Century, but what interests me most about her is her difficult childhood and adolescence and how this translated into her vulnerability and brokeness as an actress and adult (it's the psychologist in me). Beautiful and talented, yet woefully lost, her life ended sooner than it should. On what would be her 83rd birthday, let us celebrate her smile. This montage is set to Bethany Dillon's 'Beautiful' and I think it perfectly captures her.
Happy Birthday, Norma Jeane!
