A couple of years ago, I remember reading a Style Bubble article in which Susie shared photos of her amazing wardrobe. At the time, I remarked upon her embracing all manner of prints, and that in comparison, my own wardrobe was remarkably plain. I'm very happy to note that nowadays, my wardrobe is full to brimming with bright prints - and of these, florals are my absolute favourite, which is probably why this dress quickly caught my eye.
In a style reminiscent of the 50s - and which wouldn't look out of place on my style icon Charlotte "Chuck" Charles - I love the purple and teal hues on white, the nipped waist and the frills-over-pencil skirt design.
It's bright, buoyant, brilliant and beautiful (yes, I like to alliterate) and it's perfect for summer; or, if you're in the Southern Hemisphere with me, throw on a soft cardi and a skinny belt and it'll suit an Australian winter too!
If you can't resist her, she's by BB Dakota and is available from Mod Cloth.
